Is there such thing as an 80% percent ar15 upper?

If so where can I get one online?

what would be the point?  The reason for 80 lowers is for diy types and for those who want to be off the radar with their purchases.  A 100% receiver doesn't require any paperwork...

An unfinished upper would be in a non anodized/dyed state making it easier to make the upper/lower match, esp if you're going with something besides the standard black.  Like if you're building a race gun & you want it electric blue or gold.

Another possibility is with a 80% C7 style upper you could mill off the shell deflector & have a more true A1 style upper.  Perhaps with a little more work a slick side M16 or transitional Airforce style upper would be possible after milling off the FA hump.  Or chopping the carry handle off & leave the rear sight tower.  Or milling a slot for a side charging handle....

Yes there is. Tannery Shop has 0%,  60%, and 70% uppers in A1, A2 and A3 config.
