Getting ready to try my hand at finishing an 80% and have a question the receiver I bought is already anodized so when I finish the lower I'll have bare aluminum in the interior cavities, whats the best way to protect and finish these exposed surfaces?   Thanks in advance

No need.  Aluminum oxidizes very  quickly, forming a protective layer.  Anodizing takes it further, but it's really not necessary on the inside.  If there are elements present long enough to corrode the bare aluminum surface, the steel parts will have long since rusted.

There are aluminum blackening agents available if you want to blacken small areas.  its good for touch ups. large areas may be harder.

I think mine is made by birchwood casey

You can always have it done up in cerakote.

I've got a couple weapons that I've cerakoted, and they all seem to hold the finish pretty well.  It's probably not quite as tough as anodizing, but it will do a good enough job for 99% of the people on this forum.
