I did somethings similar for the chip removal using a shop vac crevice attachment, some painters tape, and a bungee cord. There are pics of it in my thread. Which reminds me I should take a pic of the inside of my mini cyclone to show how much chips you produce completing an 80%.
Your idea for drilling kind of mimics mine. I do the trigger slot hole, then all the 3/8" holes. My last 4 lowers I didn't even touch the rear two holes. I another lower that I'm going to try just driving the trigger slot hole and then going straight to the router with. Wayne suggested it. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Here's a question for you... When I received my new Modulus HD jig it didn't come with any printed instructions although it was very easy being familiar with the original Modulus jig to figure out how to put together. Looking at y'all's web site I may be blind or something but I'm not finding where I can find directions or videos for the HD jig, although I find the ones for the original jig easy enough. It would be great to have updated instructions and videos for the new jig since a few things have changed, for the better. I really like the way the drilling and routing plates fit into the jig from the top now, it is a lot easier and faster to change them than it was with the original jig.

Thanks, that was what I was looking for... Either I'm completely blind or they revised the web site and made the links to the HD instructions easier to find... Or maybe I had an old cached copy of the web site on my computer or something... because looking at it now, it is there plain as day... |
