A few years back I was able to pick up a little Colt 9mm AR. I registered it and had the barrel cut down. The intent of getting this weapon as to add a Gemtech Talon SD to the top, but I have yet to do that; I like this rifle just the way it is. I still have an hankerin for a suppressed 9mm arf, but I’m thinking I’ll just build a second SBR and get the SWR Alpha/Omega upper for it. I have the OLY system and I like it. Most people don't like the mags with th block welded on. I use these because the mag release is the same as the .223 Ar. I bought this upper used for 189.00 in EE. The lower was 89.00, lower parts kit was 40.00,grip 15.00and stock was 69.00. Thats 333.00 for complete gun. The mags were used on this site for 20.00. Since then a friend with the same set up had blocks machined for some sten mags. We had the blocks welded on and split 24 of them. Its nice at the indoor range shooting and not loading mags.   |
