A few questions from a newbie 9MM upper build. I have a Olympic lower with a DPMS 16" flattop M4 upper. I would like to build a 9MM upper to go with it for pistol carbine matches.

1. Can I use any upper receiver or does it need to be 9MM specific?

2. Can I use any 9MM barrel?

3. Are there any advantages in the different length barrels for my need?

4. What BCG should I use?

5. Do I still need to ramp the bolt if using it in a semi-auto setup?

6. I would like a magwell adapter that will lock the bolt open on the last round, which should I use?

Thanks to everyone that can offer some assistance.
