View Quote What you need to do is take out the wire behind the bolt release (three screws on the side) and bend it very slightly towards the bolt catch. Take it slowly, bend a little and try again if you need to. If you bend it too much it will lock back every time, which is obviously bad. I had to call NFA for this. just fixed mine today. |

Very nice and clean looking gun...nice lines and minimal junk hanging off of it! Love it.
I would just have to move the vert grip out a little further for my liking. Very nice and welcome to the forums. |

Tactipug. The ultimate compact firepower!

Off the top of my head, the major components
Lower: Quarter Circle 10 Small Frame Initially had the Thorsden Customs MFT Cheek Rest ALG Defense (ACT) Trigger Forward Controls bolt catch/release to achieve the large surface area paddle, simulate the "slap" of MP5 https://www.rainierarms.com/forward-controls-design-abc-r Rainier Arms 45 degree selector (they wouldn't sell me one unit with two large selector levers so I had to get two sets, but a little discount was applied). Minimal Lower Parts Kit from Red Barn Armory (I didn't need a complete one since I had so many other miscellaneous parts like the trigger and Magpul MOE that I intended to use), just selected the parts I needed. Noveske logo stamped take down pins for the aesthetics, but also seems to give the illusion of the third full auto selection (since I painted all the roll marks) :P Doing the math, after compiling all the invoices, to include shipping costs and buying all the tools I needed. That lower project came out to like $752. Now that I switched to the SB Tactical Brace, add $310 so like $1k in that lower alone |

Upper: Quarter Circle 10 10.5" Barrel Gibbz Arms Side Charge Upper Centurion Arms 9.5" CMR Rail JP Enterprise 9mm Bolt and JPCS Buffer 3 Lug Adapter and Brugger and Thomet 3 Lug Flash Hider from HK Parts Daniel Defense Fixed Rear Sight, Troy Fixed HK Hood Style Front Sight. I wanted to use the HK Rear Diopter Drum Style, and matching hooded front to complete the look. Apparently Centurion Arms at one point made the diopter drum style, but now discontinued. The only other options were HK 416 sights, which sit at an improper height, lower than standard AR15 height, which according to one review used a riser to raise. Being 150+ with accompanying riser putting just the rear sight at 180-200, and the front being 111. An absurd cost for fixed sights, and my OCD would kick in being that the sights are mounted on a riser. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/688939/hk-detachable-fixed-rear-diopter-sight-ar-15-mr556-flat-top-aluminum-matte http://rd.bizrate.com/rd?t=https://ads.midwayusa.com/product/313161/yankee-hill-machine-picatinny-style-mini-riser-mount-1-1-4-length-aluminum-matte?cm_mmc=pf_ci_connexity-_-Optics+-+Scope+Rings%2C+Bases%2C+Mounting+%26+Accessories-_-Yankee+Hill-_-313161&mid=77064&cat_id=12150125&atom=10468&prod_id=&oid=6045348707&pos=1&b_id=18&bid_type=10&bamt=be85fa8f6ad737f6&cobrand=1&ppr=7c9646466c7020cb&rf=af1&af_assettype_id=12&af_creative_id=2973&af_id=26865&af_placement_id=1659178&dv=a0d45aa44b39d4f37c4c61485a14a60f&af_campaign_id=j1qly08zb700zk8a03b2f Before switching to the SB Tactical Brace I haven't begun to compile the cost of the upper, or the accompanying gear such as 8 ETS mags and 6 Glock 33 rounders. Its probably something absurd I know, for literally a 9mm toy. But my OCD meant I had to follow through and complete the project. A quote from a friend, from which I live by and adhere to since. You gotta pay the cost to be the boss. |

Thanks for sharing, looks great. Im also in the OCD/Hk wanna be club. Im gonna have to pick up those 45 degree selectors, those things look sick

Nice setup @coletam.
I hate to keep throwing money into my range toy too, but the new collapsible arm braces sure seem more useful than the blade brace. I'm still jacked that my form 1 got denied for some nonsense the day before 41f while the e system was unusable |
