Whats the difference between FMJ (full metel jacket) and TMJ (total metel jacket) ? I'm so confused !@*

A FMJ round generally has an exposed lead base. A TMJ is totally encapsulated by the jacket, so there is no lead burned off by combustion of the propellent. |
