Need advice please.

I have two 9mm Colt uppers I purchased several years ago and I am now able to build the complete guns.

I am considering buying RRA 9mm lowers.

Has anyone used the RRA 9mm lowers? If so, feedback is appreciated.

If I purchase the RRA 9mm lowers, will there lower be all I need (other than mags and ammo) to assembly and head to the range?

Thanks for the help.

I would suggest just about any stripped lower with a Hahn mag block (I prefer the Hahn dedicated block), a Brownell's 9mm hammer, Slash's 9Q buffer, and Metalform or current C Products magazine if you want a 9mm that works.

Any (quality, in-spec) stripped lower with a good magazine block will do.  I use a Rock River block, and I have a Rock River factory 9mm carbine that rocks.  The advantage of using a standard receiver and a magazine block is that the block is generally adjustable to some extent-even a wonderfully MIL-SPEC lower can have variations that require a bit of tweaking in terms of where the magazine sits, and an adjustable block gives you that flexibility.  I use modified Uzi mags as well as CProducts magazines and have good results.

Thank you guys for the advice.

I am going to start on these next weekend and I will let you know how it goes.

I might be getting back to you if I need a push in the right direction.

Thanks,
Jason
