When the bolt goes forward, it catches the dummy round. I did it slow a couple of times and it rides the dummy round hard. I decided to just try and let the bolt go forward (retracted the bolt, and then released it), and the bolt literally put a gouge in to the dummy round. If the bolt stays open/retracted after the mag is empty, and thus not going forward at all, this isn't a problem (if the bolt hold open works). Is there any decent solution to this other than using real dummy rounds?

I contacted beta a couple of days ago, and still no response.  I'd like to see if they have an alternative solution also.  Thanks for any help!

Not surprisingly, Betaco has not replied to two email attempts.  Does anyone else have a fix for this?

Thanks,
Steve

Are you implying that it's normal for a beta mag to have problems, or this particular problem?

And I plan on filing it down (perhaps a more gradual angle???? not sure...open to suggestions), I just don't see why this is a problem to begin with, and it's unfortunate that betaco doesn't like me.

I thought all the beta mags ran without issues.

First I heard of a issue.
