Does anyone know of a company that manufactures a 5-7" long Comp, Muzzle Break, Flash Hider, Fake Suppressor, BBL extension, etc that will fit a Colt 9mm BBL?

Or happen to know offhand what the pitch to the threads on a Colt 9mm is?

Thanks in advance!

Probably not.

MAC/TEC 9 stuff doesn't fit, either.
I'm guessing AK, FAL, M1A, HK and Uzi do-dads are out also.

I think Garrison Manufacturing sells a 5.5" flash hider for the 9mm.

It's not listed on their site but they advertised them on ARF less than a year ago.

There was a cool show on the Discovery Channel on various weapons.  They demo'ed an AK-74, the 5.45mm job, with the excellent compensator that the Russians put on that beast.  In FA, you could literally see the barrel being moved down and forward... very impressive.

Gas volume and velocity are very different between 9mm and rifle calibers, but it would be cool to see a variant of this compensator on a 9mm AR.  It could be made long enough to convert a 10.5" SMG barrel into a legal 16" bbl if pinned or silver soldered in place, and it would help muzzle flip to boot.  Any machinists want to give it a whirl?
