| I just got back from the range this afternoon, I put several hundred rounds through a few Sigs I own, ran 150 or so through a new to me Glock 19, and even tested out a Taurus .22 I bought for my wife. The most fun by far is always my 9mm Colt AR-15. I have it set up with an Aimpoint, and it's just a great shooting, cheap to feed, accurate as hell, fun gun. If any of you guys are on the fence about getting one, just do it, you won't regret it, it's a blast and great for indoor ranges!!! |

+1 9mm is FUN I always have fun with my new RRA 9mm A4 CAR with Hahn block which I built myself. So far I only have one Colt mag and a Beta C mag and I'm also waiting for C Products soon to be released 9mm mags. My UZI 9mm/ .45 with Vector Arms Grease Gun mag conversion is my other fun gun but I had owned a HK 94 for about 12 years which was very accurate. My other 9mm pistols that I shoot with my carbines are Sig P226, Glock 19 and my old '89 Action Arms AT-84 which was a Swiss made CZ 75 clone. All my 9mm carbines are fun to shoot either outdoor or indoor ranges. Don't miss the fun, get a 9mm carbine as soon as you can. Pic of my RRA 9mm A4 CAR |
I have Rock River 16" carbine and mid-length complete 9mm uppers in stock if you want one right away. I can also cut them down or swap out handguards etc... to make anything you want out of it. |
Don't sell your Colt, I did that before to upgrade to the newer Colt models and I wish I didn't do it. The HK 94 feels slightly heavier than my 9mm AR but my 9mm UZI feels the heaviest, just my opinion. Every time I shoot my carbines the HK 94 had the smallest grouping size compared to my other same caliber carbines. My HK 94 had original A3 collapsible buttstock but I changed it to the fixed stock for a better cheek weld. Platform wise I prefer my AR A4 flat top because it's more flexible and easier to mount different types of optics. |
