[ARCHIVED THREAD] - A2 Butt Stock Parting Line

I just built my first lower from RRA parts. The A2 butt stock and grip have a mold parting line running around the periphery. I would like to remove this line. My thought was to wet sand the line with 600-grit wet/dry paper. Has any one done this or have a better way of blending the line? BTW the furniture is green if that makes any differance in your advice.
