I bought a chicom carry handle mount from Sportsman's Guide ($25) and put it on my AR. My last effort with a rail didn't work and couldn't find paper. This unit is a one piece affair and with plastic inserts is made for 25mm and 30mm scopes. It seems substantial and well engineered. With the inserts, at least it won't mare the scope. I can get my jaw onto the stock but not a cheek weld. I will take it to the range soon and report, weather permitting. |
