Will a A2 rear sight aperature fit and work with an A1 upper reciever?  I like the A2 better, with the small hole, and large hole, and would like to use it on my A1 upper instead of the one that pretty much has two small holes.  Thanks in advance.

you can put an A2 aperture on an A1 upper as long as you don't plan on shooting 500-600 yds because you won't have a longrange aperture anymore.

Huh?  A2 has no long range aperature?  Am I missing something?

Yes, but you'll lose windage.  The A2 assembly is larger than the A1, so there are less left to right clicks.

Alright, thanks.

How easy is it to install?  Just simply unthread the screw from the A1 upper, swap, and rethread?
