All,
I am assembling parts for my next build. I am using for the first time a A2 stock that just came in today. I ordered it from Del-Ton and it did not come with directions, and I have only built with CAR stocks before. Any of you guys shoot me in the right direction.

Not too difficult.  Take the top screw out of the but plate..the stock body should slide off of the tube.  Note there is a spacer.  Screw the tube into the receiver.  when you get close to the buffer retainer, put it in, then screw the tube in until it bottoms out.  the buffer retainer tit should be held in place, but be exposed enough to hold the buffer in place when you open the rifle. (i've already had to grind a bit off the front of the tube on one) Tighten the buffer tube with a wrench using the flats in the back of the tube (I've used a crecent adjustable here)  Torque...heck I don't know, tight enough that it stays on, and you don't twist the receiver doing it.  Install the buffer spring and buffer (grease the spring first).  Install the takedown pin and spring, slide the stock body in place, and tighten the screw- -remembering to install the 5/8" thick spacer.  Done.
