If I mount an Aimpoint on a free float where will the irons witness?

Depends on the mount.

There are mounts that will allow absolute co-witness and mounts for lower 3rd.

Arms 22M68 with full spacer? Larue cantilever?

It also depends on the FF tube. IF you get a system (like the Troy) where the rail is the same level as the receiver - it will have the same cowitness as if it were receiver mounted.

The YHM 2 piece is the same height as the receiver.
