I was finishing building my lower receiver and can't understand why my A2 solid stock is so loose on the receiver? how do I tighten it? I can't screw the buffer tube in any farther.

Did you have Loc-tite on the threads of the butt screw?
If so, you may not have gotten the screw tight enough. See if you can remove some of the Loc-tite, and reinstall.
If no Loc-tite, then it's clearly a different problem.

I just bough the stock and the top screw has paint stuff on it, is that it? I'll try to get it off and retry it

mine does the same and loosens even after i tighten the buttstock screw. guess i'll be loctiting.
