hi there guys. i tried to use the search engine to no avail. now im going to ask friendly folks out there to help me find a solution to my problem. i want to replace my A2 flash hider with a muzzle break/compensator. but the issue is  i want it to look like the regular A2 style. my question is...is there such a thing? maybe even a similar looking muzzle break. if so what brand/kind should i get. i appologize  if it sounds newbish..coz i am when it comes to ARs. thanks in advance for the replies. hope you guys can help.

Why do you want to replace it?  Unless it's for legal reasons in your area, the A2 flash hider/compensator is already a compensator.  Replacing it with a straight up A2 style compensator is not going to gain you much of anything.

thanks for the replies guys. so it wont do much of a difference if i replace it with A2 style compensator like msmedley suggested? . the reason is i tried my friend's Ar15(with non A2 style muzzle break that i forgot the brand)last weekend and maaan! i really notice the difference.i get really nice groupings. ill settle with my A2 flash hider then if thats the case. i wanna keep it stock looking. thanks

Right, the A2 style compensator is not going to be that much more effective as a compensator than the flash hider.  If you want a truly effective compensator try something like the ones JP makes.
