| I've never mounted any optics on an A2 upper, but I'm thinking about it. It's a Colt 9mm and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this setup and could suggest a good mount and optic (aimpoint?) that would work well with it. Thanks! |

EDIT: But I think the ARMS #39 is the gooseneck that also clips to your carry handle for added stability (I don't think I'd buy the one pictured there). |

I have mounted optics (colt 4x20 and aimpoint comp c) on two different A2 uppers...i know most folks dont go for carry handle mount, but i never had an issue with it. I may try to set up a co-witness mount at some point, but i have no problems with fast target aquisition using my M4 A2 with an aimpoint on the top of the handle....before you drop the $100+ on a mount, try the handle....if you hate it, spend some more...if you like it, save some more....and put it towards the NEXT rifle!!! good luck |
