I’ve shot thousands of rds of various AAC 77otm/smk. Some of the earlier lots were spicy, but no issues even in multiple Wylde chambers (an alleged culprit) with no issues. I’ve had a few lots of the 77smk that grouped as well as ammo costing 3 times as much, so I hope they bring it back! |

The various 5.56 match loads they had before shot reasonably well, 1" +/= 1/4" from a couple precision bolt guns. The extreme spreads were close to 100 though and the powders very filthy. Short range ok but those spreads will hurt at longer distances. For the average joe bustin caps with an AR at short range would be happy. I do hope their powder source is consistent and they can produce reasonably priced precision ammunition. |

I was getting well under MOA for 10 shot groups. The 77smk version was typically more precise than the OTM, but not by much with the standard 2700fps loaded ammo. Well, the first two name are fine, but mixtape is just retarded. A mixtape is just a cassette tape ( originally ) that we old folks used to put into a cassette player, and record songs from random artists onto, or one that we recorded various artists onto from other cassette tapes. That moved on in the CD world, and then the MP3 players, and so on. Nothing to do with ammo or firearms. I'd rather them have a different name for that line. I don't know what I'd suggest, but anything would be better than Mixtape. Maybe it could be appropriate, but could someone explain to me what mixtape has to do with firearms ? |

Some 147s seem to go supersonic with the longer barrel. |
