| Does the AAC muzzle brake have a flange that covers a portion of the barrel like the vortex flash hider does? |

Thanks, I've been looking all over for a pic like that! No problem, and the brake-out is the same way: http://www.silencershop.com/shop/images/3416/brakeout-3.jpg I thought the newer ones had wrench flats on the rear? Going to look in the safe. |

When I was installing it I didn't realize the diameter of my barrel was slightly larger than the recess in the Vortex and it shaved about 1/8" of the finish off the end of the barrel as I tightened it. No big deal but I was hoping the AAC muzzle devices were made similar and would hide the ugly. Haven't decided what can I'm getting but have been looking hard at AAC.
