I really like the looks of this stock. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of having a short stock, besides looks.
Thank you, Phessor

Do a little searching/browsing.  The Ace stocks get a lot of discussion around here.

A short stock is good for smaller statured shooters.  Or a shooter wearing body armor or heavy clothing and a back pack.  My wife is 5 foot even and an almost completely collapsed M4 stock fits her perfectly.

I've had great luck with the Ace shorty stock on my Colt M4 carbine. It works well with a nose to charging handle shooting style.

Hi Phess
I like mine.
Just put it on a RR Midlength.Tried the thinner rubber buttplate but decided on the 1".
Good stock esp. for here in Ohio where you wear heavy coats and such in the winter and that seems to make the A2 too long.

Honestly, I didn't care for these stocks when they first came out. However, they have grown on me and now appeal to me. Guess that's why I just bought one.

Have one on my 16" A2 I really like it a lot. It lets you get up close for a good site picture on the rear site.
