[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ACOG+A2

I have a RRA A2 20" and want to place a ACOG on the carry handle for KISS. It's my favorite rifle. I am thinking of TA11 or TA31. I have no problem hitting min of man at 300yd, just looking for 400-600yd hits.

cheek weld could be a problem...
IMO if you want an ACOG on your carry handle the Compact models are the way to go

I'm putting it on my Delta style A2 so cheek weld is ok. Thanks for the help guys.

Here is a pic of my TA11-D on my old bushy.....

I am moving that ACOG over to my Bravo Middy Build as soon as I finish it. Can't afford another ACOG right now.

I Like you I use irons at 300 yards and under. I mounted a 3X TA50-4 on the carry handle. I had to drill a new mounting hole in the handle to get proper eye relief but it works great. Just lift my head 3/4 of an inch and reestablish a cheek weld and I'm good. The rifle is a colt lower with Colt M16A4 upper. The group in the photo is 600 yards.
