Is there an ACOG set up for the 6.8's ballistics?
fact is there is none.. they can be close but still.. I put ACOG's on my AR due to the BDC being right on.. I really dont think they will make a ACOG for 6.8 since its made for CQB anyway.. I have a feeling they will make one for the 6.5 tho.. if anything a ACOG with the Crosshair on it.. it has no BDC so its pretty much made for any cal..
Is this an opinion -- like your opinions on the TA31s vs TA33s -- or a statement of fact? I hope it's the former, because if it's the latter you need to do more reading and less posting. Just my opinion, of course. |
its a fact that there is not a ACOG for the 6.8 yet.. (I have read u sight in 1" high or somthing and the BDC will line up on the 223 BDC ACOGs) and I dont know what you are talking about with the TA31 vs TA33 and trijicon prolly will end up making a ACOG for 6.8 but that is not a fact.. I could really see them doing it if the military went to 6.8 and from what I have heard they prolly are gonna go all the way.. thats not a fact tho but I guess in the TA31's vs TA33's I would have to say the TA31's are better that is my opinion tho so dont freak out.. I also think the 6.5 is a better round then the 6.8 for all around use and its a very good long range round... thats a hard one tho its kinda like opinion/fact or somthing.. I also dont really like that fact you want me to tell you every time my statement is a fact or opinion.. if you need to know more about what I think about optics,ammo,AR-15's AK's well anything really.. just send me a PM
well from what I hear the reason they want it is for CQ.. and the max is somthing around 400-500 yards.. I really dont know to much about the round, I do know the 6.5 is a much better round for mid to long ranges. But I guess they say used to say the same thing about the 5.56 that its max is 600-800m but with the right barrel you can shoot good groups at 1200 yards..
