So as I am reading the boards I'm thinking that all of these ACOG questions are popping up because of the group buy ad in the equipment exchange forum, at least that's why I am posting.  I have thought of buying an ACOG for the longest time and I think the time and price is just right.  I currently have an Aimpoint M2 on my flattop rifle, I was wondering what ACOG would be a good all around scope for my rifle.  The lengths I am shooting with are 12.5'', 14.5'', and 16''.  The two ACOGS I have looked at are teh TA33GH and TA31, and TA11.  So thanks to all that reply and the help......

I've had TA31s, and that is what I gravitated toward because it is what the Marines are issued.

However, what they say about the eye relief being a bit short is true. I looked into the TA33 and TA11 as alternatives.

I liked the TA11, but it is a big honkin' fixture on top of your rifle.

The TA33 (TA33G-H in particular) is my favorite. It is light, has long eye relief, and isn't too big.

I'll be picking up additional TA33G-Hs when I can and I recommend this model wholeheartedly.
