When did Trijicon begin using the "non-cracking" fiber-optic?

I have had my TA31F for a while and I know people that have had there ACOG's for 5+ years and they have had no probs with "cracking fiber optic"..

Do not know for sure but my guess is around 2 to 3 years.

Not all of the older ACOG's will "Crack". It was never the fiber optic, it was the gel/glue that was used to fill the tube. It was changed sometime around 2 years ago.
