I finally decided to cut loose with a grand and buy a used ACOG off ebay. I bought the 4X32 FDE with ARMS mount system and DOCTOR. For the most part I am satisfied with my purchase but I have a question about my investment:
The body is pretty scuffed up, something has been filed of the left side of the scope housing and it has the scripture on the right side of the mount. Wolud this be a military issue or just an older model?

Why didn't you just save up $300 more and buy a new one?
