Aimpoint comp m4s X2- no problems
Aimpoint PRO X2- no problems Aimpoint T1- no problems Actually I had a problem with the first Aimpoint comp m4s I ever owned. I bought it used and the windage assembly somehow unthreaded itself from the body of the sight. Mostly a user error I believe. I must have tightened the cap on too tight. However Aimpoint CS said send it back, or use red loctite to put it back in. I loctited it and it was good to go. Never had another problem, so not sure if that counts as an issue.  </a>" />

2010 - used (prior issued) Aimpoint M4 fogged up @ the qualification range @ Ft Lewis. Foggy day and raining. M4 carbine had a bent front sight post as well, so likely the optic had been dropped.
No other issues w/ the optic - it ran on a single Lithium AA battery for the next 11 months. |

Aimpoint PRO bought in 2011, light use, no problems
Aimpoint H1 bought in 2010, less than 200 rds of 5.56, illumination settings 3,5,6 not working Great sights, but the problem with the H1 after such light use and great care is a bummer. It's back at aimpoint hopefully to be fixed. |

I've had a PRO (Patrol Rifle Optic) for a couple years (bought in 2016).
Absolutely zero complaints. Wish I had a few of them. |

| No operational/ functional issues with personal Aimpoints. I just hate how the brightness adjustment control rheostat is so mushy on the micro/T series. Nobody ever complains about it, but I'd prefer a more tactile feel. It's always been a minor gripe I had with them. |

| Issued Comp M2s on UMPs, G36s, and shotguns from 02-13. No issues. Issued T1s from 13-present on M4s and shotguns, complaints about dot appearing as a slash, but no functional issues. Personally own 3 T1s, one on a shotgun, one on an M4, one used to be on an AK74 - mounting threads stripped. Too much loctite and swapped around too many times. Currently with Aimpoint being repaired. |

M4S about 8 years - no issues
PRO about 7 years - no issues My dept has 32 PROs and the only issue I’m aware of it a mount screw that broke off when the rifle was in the trunk during a vehicle crash. Aimpoint sent me a new mount with no hassle. |

I have a Comp ML2 and have no idea how old it is. Like was said above, it’s mounted in an ARMS mount. It’s probably at least 12-15 years old or older. Never a problem. I’ve used it a lot in 3 gun matches. It still has the original battery in it after all these years. |

Aimpoint ML3 on Ultimak rail at Least 50,000 rds on it. LED flickering at different brightness at times. Sometimes under recoil. I had just mounted it to third AK. I have another but has no where near the rounds this one has plus two T- 1s. One T-1 is on a truck gun upon inspection in the winter the site was erratic when turning switch on. It wouldn't come on one setting then would on next. Removed cleaned battery worked switch back and forth appears to work ok.
CORRECTION ON ML3 ITS FINE IT IS A PROBLEM WITH MY EYE AND THOUGHT IT WAS THE SIGHT. IT DID LET ME KNOW THAT I HAD A PROBLEM. |

Comp ML3 - 10 years, no problems
Comp ML2 - 9 years, no problems T1 - 7 years, no problems PRO - 5 years, no problems I plan to get at least 2 more. Probably a 2 MOA T1 to replace my Tan EXPS3 on my CQBR, and a T2 for my next SBR. I will move the ML2 to my new MK18 upper, as soon as I find a Wilcox mount. |

Comp M2 In use since 2011. Has been riding in a patrol car with garbage suspension on rough roads for over 200,000 miles. Has seen many training days, classes, callouts and has been dropped, submerged, slammed into god knows how many objects. The optic housing looks like a train wreck, but it still functions 100% reliable. |

I have 4 Aimpoint RDS. 2 Comp M2 and 2 PRO's. All have been problem free. The Comp M2's I bought used, the PRO's new (replacing Eotech units that didn't survive my training with them)
2 on 5.56, 1 on 9mm, 1 on .300BLK The Comp M2's bought circa 2006 if I recall. The PRO's in 2016 and 2018. |

Aimpoint PRO 2015 no problem
It has been dropped off the top of the bed of my truck and landed on the sight only dinged cosmetically. |

Comp M4, bought it used and abused, only issue it had when I sold it was with a bad connection in the battery cap. I did have 2 batteries explode/leak due to leaving it in my trunk on a FL summer day to shoot after work on two separate occasions, so the failure may be related to that. Otherwise, it was great. Just don't leave it in a dark car for 10 hours in direct sunlight on a day when the ambient temperature is 95... 
ETA: not sure how old it was when I bought it in 2010, and sold it in 2017. |

its not personally owned but issued PRO's
I have had two go down on me 1. from a flying rock or something. Larger caliber impact near me caused a small rock or something to impact right under the battery compartment leaving a large indentation/deformation. Sight would not operate after that. 2. I'm not sure. One day it just shut off and wouldn't turn back on after changing batteries. There was no corrosion so I am assuming it was some sort of connectivity issue. In both cases I just got a new piece of gear and never heard about it again. |
