wanted to hear your two cents from people who HAVE mounted it on a RAS. Is it sturdy enuff? Please refrain from commenting that its not studry enuff if you havent acutally mounted it on it. I am leaning towards the RAS or RAS II but i think the RAS II with the humps seems to limit the options of mounting optics.

I looked but I can't find my pictures. I had my Aimpoint mounted on a KAC RAS with a ARMS 22M68 mount with the full spacer. I had it mounted as far forward as possible with only enough room left between the optic and the front sight tower to clear the lens caps.

I liked it there, but it did throw the balance of the rifle forward quite a bit.

Is it sturdy enough? I think so. But having said that I could never get it to zero. Now that may have been me and not the set up. But I just couldn't make it work.

I moved it back onto the receiver and haven't had a problem since. I think I liked the site picture netter "forward" but I had to put it where it worked. Now its as far forward as I can get it on the receiver.
