[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AP4 BUIS

I just bought an AP4 and noticed the BUIS upper portion wants to twist to the left from the elevation adjust spring. Has anyone else had this problem? I emailed DPMS on this and am waiting on a reply.

But IMO that is a crappy setup for a 1000.00+ rifle. Still waiting on a reply from DPMS. I'll probably have to call them.

thats the nature of the a2 rear sights, not just the dpms. wont hurt a thing.

Thanks for the input. You are right. I looked at the sight on my A2 carry handle(never noticed it because I have not fired it yet) and it does the same thing but not as pronounced as the detachable unit from DPMS. This probably explains why DPMS has not responded to my mail. They probably figured that I would figure it out eventually.
I'll sight it in and then remove it for the ACOG TA11C I just received.
So many options. Its Great
