Best site I've seen in awhile! Quick question. Just got my AP4. What seems to be the opinion out there on what it likes to shoot and what scopes have you put on it?

I can only answer for me and mine...

Best ammo:  Whatever is lying around.  seriously.  Eats anything, shoots anything. I only shoot this 100 yards or less, I have always been able to hit pie plates at 100 yards with any ammo.  Good enough for me for this application.

Scope- I have an Eotech on mine- it is my up close and personal weapon.

Mine will eat anything.  I have tried all different types of optics.  Just get a good one that fits your application.

Great rifle. Very surprised at the quality. I have used std. ball rounds, 168gr Fed. match and 180gr fed. S/P will feed and fire just about anything. I get the best groups with the heaver bullets.

Mine wont extract Brown Bear ammo.

That is laquer stuff, so its not too clean anyways.

I put a compM4 on mine. This rifle is the shit. Love the 308 round, way better than the 223.

I've shot just about everything through mine.  It's been 100% reliable after a few minor "adjustments".  It definitely prefers heavier (165 gr. and heavier) bullets for accuracy, mine will shoot right around an inch or a little better if I do my part.  As far as optics, I've used a few Burris scopes, as well as thier Tactical SpeedDot, with pretty good results.
