That's natural light.  It's all about the right time of day and the right setting.  Backlit low evening light that's nice and soft with a heavy cloud cover, and the snow on the ground acts as a reflector.

Actually this set up has run completely flawlessly.  It is just on the heavy side.

For those that remember, I'm back with the logo. This is the finished product. Its free. Pass it around! Watermark it on all of you images if you want. Our rights are under attack, and we need to be loud about it.

Remember to email me or IM me for a copy of the ai illustrator file for anything you want with it. Pictures, tshirts, vinyls etc.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Two of my favoriate shots form the 2013 SHOT Show media range day.  And the DD ISR in 300Blk was a ton of fun to shoot too.  The guys from DD said that the gun had about 2000-2500 rounds through it that day, and it was running strong without being cleaned.

I see a lot of y'all adding images to your pictures, like a signature or emblem to identify it as yours.

How do y'all do it?

Lots of great pics in this thread!!

In case you were wanting something more specific, and you wanted to try something like this. Photoshop allows you to have layers of images. So he takes his signature image and layers it on top of the image of the rifle. You can then set that layer which is on top to bleed through in certain ways. Some styles may mix the colors of the two layers, some may darken or lighten, only allow light areas through, or dark areas, etc. Then because you want the image to appear behind the rifle you have to erase the area of the signature that is on top of the rifle. It doesn't have to be exact and if you look closely at the previously posted images you can see where the logo meets the rifle there is usually a small amount of border where too much was erased. I don't mean that in a negative way you could spend a long time perfectly cropping that image, and it would never be noticed by anyone. Free programs exist that allow you to do almost everything Photoshop does, such as GIMP.
