| I have a side charging bolt carrier that is AR15 cut, not FA profile. I know that somebody used to make an adapter to bring an AR carrier to FA profile. Does anybody have one of these that I can buy or know where I can find one? I found a site listing what I need, but the order button just went to a discontinued web site. Thanks. |
| The only modification I have ever seen is to weld and machine in a piece. What are you wanting to make it a FA profile for? |

There were bolt up mod kits as well as the weld/ machine options for Auto-Sear Trip. Similar to the current rimfire options available these days. Auto-Sear Trip:    EDIT. Unfortunately, the "semi auto" carriers were not all cut back the same distance. Some were just barely cut back to not trip the sear, others milled all the way back, and then piles of others were cut back, to a multitude of different dimensions. So there's not going to be one adapter that will work with all those different semi auto carriers, bringing them back to M16 spec. Tony |

Manufacturers all machine AR15 carriers back to different lengths. Getting one long enough to workwith all and maching back to match the top cut of the carrier will cost as much as a new carrier will. I assume you want this for an FRT? |
