Ok.......the disconnector spring has a larger end and a smaller end. Which end goes into the receiver and which end does the disconnector seat on? I have tried to install that spring with the smaller end seating into the trigger portion and the larger end on top to which the disconnector would seat on. However, after installing the entire trigger assembly with disconnector into the lower receiver and, then, attempting to put the trigger pin through the receiver and into the trigger assembly, the trigger pin was constantly blocked by the disconnector not being in line. I continued to work the disconnector to no avail. I also used a punch on the opposite end and fed it through both receiver holes and the trigger assembly as a guide to work the trigger pin through on the opposite end. Again, the trigger pin wouldn't go through because of the disconnector not being in line.
I then started all over and installed the disconnector spring the opposite way: larger end into trigger and smaller end on top outside. When assembly everything, I put the trigger pin easily however, it was very very loose within the lower receiver. Is that correct assembly? Please help !!!! |
