| Has AR15.com done any Postal Matches? I recently started reading a pistol web site where they have several postal matches. It sounds pretty fun. |

I'm stuck in an endless loop back to this page from the hotlink.

Try this... FWIW, my son's high school rifle team (JROTC) shoots postal matches with other schools. TC ETA: Have to sign in to read threads!? |

Postal matches! I thought that's what I was about to do a couple of months ago at my place of employment. I almost went apesh!t a couple of months ago where I work at because of increased stress, corrupt management, and high racial tension. I work with alot of a certain minorty and when Katrina 's aftermath was being shown on the news nightly it was like "hate whitey" month at work. |
| I shot postal matches a few years ago when I shot competitive pistol matches. The way they were run is the top 5 scores represented the postal team and the scores were mailed in to NRA for comparision with other teams from other states.I have never heard of individual postal match shooting, but I guess it's possible. |
| We've done a couple of them on the Colroado site. But since we didn't offer any prizes response was limited. It was fun though. They're not hard to run. Just define and post the rules, and set a deadline. You then have to allow a week or two past the deadline for targets to show up. It can be a fun thing, especially if you alter the course of fire regularly. |
Well I'd better get practicing, last time out was 1 1/4" at 100 yds open sights. If I'm going to hit a postal stamp at that range I'd better buckle down and get serious! Actually, I think I WILL put a stamp in the bull, shoot and mail it in. Alright already, someone come up with the rules and deadlines! |
