Problem: magazine comes unseated/dislodged/drops after firing several times. Given: -problem occurs with all variants of mags and drums. -it is an early model AR47 (one of the first 100 made) -I heard that there was a mag release design change for the ar47 on the later models -I heard that there is a way of modifying the back tang of the mag to resolve the problem. Questions: -what was the exact design change of the mag release? (Exact dimensions would be nice) -what are the exact dimensions of the back mag tang modification to resolve the problem?
