I am looking for information, good or bad, on the ARMS 39a2. I need to mount an EOTech 551 on my A2 duty rifle. I must have the sights available so mounting anything on top of the carry handle is not an option (not that I would want to). Does the mount remain in place after it is mounted, and does the optic maintain its zero? The gun is kept in a hard case in the trunk and will be used for shots that should not exceed 100 yards. Any information provided will be helpful. Thanks |

Mine has been great. Absolutely rock solid, has never moved. However, the EOTech is to tall and will not allow you to use the sights unless you remove it. Aimpoints and other tube style optics that are lower will cowittness just fine. The one slight issue I have with the mount is the part that fits inside the carry handle channel is rather narrow and it is sometimes difficult to see the large apperture on the rear sight. Sarge |
