i just bought an ARMS 40L NIW frm a fellow ARfcommer and the flip up sight post does not stand straight up at 90 degrees. Instead it has about a 10 degree cant backward toward the buttstock. Is this normal??

This question has been asked before––for good reason––as it looks like's something's amiss. It isn't. I don't think mine has a 10 degree list aft, but it's definitely not square with the receiver, and that was the response of those to the previous post. It's against a hard stop in the erected position with the spring force holding it there, so can't imagine why not being perfectly normal
would make any difference. |
