[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ARMS BUIS

I just ordered the ARMS #40a BUIS to replace the HUGE factory rear sight on my .308 AP4. does anyone know if it will line up with my A2 FSB?? if anyone has tried this, which (if any) A2 posts did you have to use to bring it in line with the ARMS??

some need a taller fsp, but youll never know until you try. you may have to replace the apertures as well, i cant use the chopped one at all.

eta, i may be referring to the older arms 40, whatever is on the swan sleeve.

if the A2FSB is the normal triangle front sight on the AP4, then yes. it lines up fine.

Or at least it does on mine.

And it has a perfect co-witness for my Eotech as well.
