Would an ARMS Mount #22 M68 with the spacer mounted directly to the flatop clear the height of the regular ARMS #40 BUIS?

They should be compatible. I'm not sure because I have a SIR rail so I don't have the spacer, it might be the same height. ???

Hmm....by clear the #40 BUIS I meant with it pinned down, not in "up" position

It'll work that way with room left over.

I have an Aimpoint ML2 mounted in an ARMS #22M68 with cantilever spacer on my rifle. My BUIS is an ARMS #40. With the BUIS flipped up, it cowitnesses perfect. With it folded down, I have no interference with my view through the Aimpoint.

i dont think that the aimpoint would have to clear the #40 since it doesnt mount over it like a powered scope does.
the aimpoint #40 setup mount one infront of another. but they cowitness perfectly with the spacer
