[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR-10

I'm calling this guy's bluff. He's selling a AR-10 upper chambered in 22-250 made buy Armalite. He's asking for a $1000. I have searched the internet high and low. I can not find this beast and I don't think there is such a upper. Is there such a animal???

i don't know about 22-250, they did make 243 and maybe 7mm08 but never seen or herd about a factory 22 cal. ar10. you should try asking in the ar10 forum though, theres less traffic there but most there know more about ar10's i think.

The lower could very well be an Armalite and he had a custom upper made but I have never seen a 22-250 straight from Armalite.

Yes ArmaLite did some up in 22-250. Think they made ten? I would have bought one, but they are slow twist so you are stuck with Barbie bullets.
