Now the fun starts got an  AR-10 after trading my DPMS 308 L to our son for an AR-15 7.62x39. Got most of the goodies from Armalite, 1913 rails, extra 20rd mags and a new 4x16x50 scope. Hope to get it ready to shoot this weekend.

You traded a DPMS 308 for a x39?  or Did you get an AR10?

GIFTED the DPMS to our son and took the 7.62x39 as a trade.
I Bought the AR-10 in Florida then did the DPMS deal, win win ode the family

OK I am not very clear
We have (1) new Armalite Ar-10
(1) DPMS 308L
(1) AR15 in 7.62x39

Our son BUILT the 7.62x39 but wanted a .308 to hunt so I gave him the DPMS and he gave me the 7.62x39
So I know have the AR-10 AND the AR-15 in 7.62x39 since I have some AK-47's and reload for them it was a good deal for all.

So, you now have an AR10 and a AR15 that shoots 7.62, because it will benefit you more than your son, because you shoot and load AKs'?
