Team,
I have a 20" Colt Flattop that I am trying to figure out what optics setup to do. Right now I think I am funds limited to reuse of parts on hand...which would be a SWFA SS 10X42. Have any of yall placed this optic on an AR? How well does it work? Does the front sight post get in the field of view? I know these scopes give pretty good performance, but what was your rifle able to shoot with this optic? What mount are you utilizing? I don't have a mount right now, and am leaning to either a Burris PEPR or a Larue (I think the # is 104). I know the Larue is the much better platform, but how does the PEPR compare? Finally, anyone have any knowledge of either the PEPR or Larue on sale? The cheapest I've seen the PEPR is $69. Thanks! |
