Does anyone have hands on info about the newer AR-47? Im wanting to find out how reliable the feed systems are? Do they use the same type buffer spring and buffer as the AR-15?

Is this in some way different from the "older" AR47?  If not, there are at least two members on this board who've owned them for some time now.  Also, if this is the same one, then the only difference is that the lower takes the AK mags... everything else is AR (buffer, stock, pistol grip, etc).  The upper is a standard AR15 upper chambered in 7.62x39 but has been modified by AR47 for $75 to work with the wider AK mags.

I want one at some point.

The new issues of Special Weapons has a gun test on the AR-47 on page 68.  Might give you some additional information.
