So I decided to go the PSA AR-9 route and picked up a PA-X9 lower and I've got a few questions.
Of course this is after I had ordered the lower for $119 I noticed they had another lower for $159 that looks exactly the same. I can't seem to figure out if there are any differences. Does anyone know what the difference is between them? Here are links to both lowers: $119 lower $159 lower Second, I am looking at adding a KAK blade package that comes with the buffer tube, buffer spring and buffer. Any issues with using the KAK buffer and spring with this gun? Any issues with the buffer tube? KAK shockwave blade package |

I could be wrong here, but im assuming the pictures are generic and it appears to me the finish is the only difference when reading the descriptions. You should be just fine running the kak tube. Spring and buffer depends on weight or suppressed or not. It'll be unsuppressed, using either 115 gr or 124 gr ammo |

What barrel length are you doing?
If I were you, I'd do a carbine buffer spring and a KAW valley 7.5oz 9mm buffer that goes for $35. If you want a little more weight on the buffer, KAK industry has 10oz 9mm buffers. Shockwave blade and dimpled tube will serve you well. |

Here's the description from the $119: PSA 9mm Billet Stripped Lower designed to use Glock®-style magazines. Palmetto State Armory is proud to announce our latest 9mm AR lower. Machined from Billet 7075 T6 forgings and then hard coat anodized, these lowers are purpose built to accept 9mm Glock®-style magazines |

After seeking similar advice on the forum, I built a PSA 9mm build with a 5.5 inch Ballistic Advantage barrel, Spinta bolt, and the 7.5oz buffer in the Shockwave tube/blade...ran perfectly from the very first round! Completed the day without a single bobble, un suppressed or suppressed...115 FMJ, 124 GDHP +p, 147 FMJ subs...perfect. |
