Ok so I'm ready to start my next AR and I'm wanting a 9mm my question is can I build a reliable functioning rifle for 600. I would prefer a glock mag lower and may eventually SBR and suppress. But legal rifle length for now. So I would like to here some parts recommendations from people who have assembled them.
Thanks in advance |

And if I am reading correctly I have to use a PSA 9 upper with there lower correct? They say that on the site, but you do not have to use their upper. However, aside from their uppers there are few if any other brands that will get you under your build price. |

I built an AR-9 pistol last year on the cheap. I only had $40-60 each month to spend on parts.
My advice is to watch for sales, and look for blemished bolts, uppers, lowers, barrels, etc. Regularly check the web sites of the dealers that have AR parts, and sign up for their emails. For example, my lower is a dedicated 9mm Black Creek Precision that was on sale because a newer model was coming out. I got my barrel from AIM when they had it on sale before July 4th, my bolt is a Spinta Precision bolt with a blemished finish (but works fine.) FCG came from PSA when they had them on sale. Sights are Magpuls that I got from Primary Arms on sale, etc. It took me about six months to acquire the parts, but I got almost every part on sale or at a discount, or got the best price possible on them. Also, check out the Rimfire and Pistol caliber AR forum since heads up on deals get posted on there. |
