I'm trying to find out if anyone out there makes a AR cleaning kit that offers a bore guide and perhaps a ball bearing rod. I have looked through all the links in the cleaning section
(at least all of them that still work) and nobody offers such a kit. I don't need one just yet (I only have put 70 rounds through the new AR and I have cleaned the barrel right after that day at the range) but I didn't have a bore guide and I want to be sure that from now on I have everything needed to do the job properly. i would appreciate it of anyone knows of such a kit or if I'm gonna have to buy everything separately which will boost the cost significantly. |

Don't know of any complete kits unless you want to spend $200 on a cleaning kit.

I am unaware of a kit that meets your specifications. That said, the individual cleaning tools and chemicals I've acquired are superior to what came in my Hoppes-brand pistol cleaning kit. |

What do you guys think about this cleaning kit? I know I will still need a rod, but what are your thoughts... http://noveskerifleworks.com/cgi-bin/imcart/display.cgi?item_id=ck1&cat=9&page=1&search=&since=&status= Thanks, BRIAN The tools are good, but I have no experience with KG gun cleaning products. It also seems pricey - you might want to check Brownells for the individual component prices. |

I like Mil Comm products and a Pro Shot rod and guide.

| Your best bet is to build one. Sinclair sells a kit that has a bore guide, solvent port, link (to hold open the upper) a chamber cleaning rod with some chamber brushes. Dewey also sells some kits for chamber cleaning and such. Either one you will still need a rod or something else. At least you can pick out everything you want. |
