| Ok guys, I just completed my first AR Pistol build and the gun shoots great so far, but I have only shot 20 rounds thru it. The problem is that I took off the gas block today to change the free float handguard and the barrel under the gas block is extremely discolored and it appears that brass dust is hanging up between the barrel and gas block. I believe that some gas is being expelled between the barrel and gas block. I haven't ever noticed this on a rifle. Is this normal for an AR Pistol? Thanks in advance for your feedback. |
