Ok, newbie here to AR realm....I obtained an 80's model Olympic Arms CAR-AR and I want a decent scope for it. It has a CVA 3X20 on it, but it don't seem to be adjustable north and south, so I want something current that works. It is currently mounted on the handle, so I would perfer to leave the handle on it(if possible) Also, what would be a good set of legs for this AR? Love the knowledge on this site!!!!

more info needed.  Are you hunting or paper shooting?  Maybe you want a close quarters optic?  If you have a removable carry handle I would recommend removing it for the optic.  LaRue has some very nice quick detach mounts.  Give us a little more info and maybe we can help ya.  The Harris bipods have always worked great for me(not expensive and are reliable).

Wanting something for paper shooting at 200+ yards. I see a lot of people getting ACOG or Aimpoint scopes, Aimpoint looks a bit cheaper(depending on the model of course) I'm not looking for 500+ yards where I need a $2,000 mil-dot special
