I just purchased a Colt car 15 and it came with some rail handguards, I have no idea of who makes it (I believe they are plastic) and would like to find out how to take them out??
Thanks.

Just pull the Delta ring back and they should slip out

Aren't they left and right side sections like the old A1s and not top and bottom?  I seem to remember something like that for some reason.

That's weird.  I guess that way the all of the rails are one piece instead of two of them being split.

Pull harder, it will work.  They are two-piece and together at arouns 2 and 8 as was previously mentioned.

They do require a lot of jiggling to get off. Do you have a handguard tool to assist you?

Do you have a VFG or carry handle?  If so, attach it to the rail...pull on the d-ring and twist with the VFG/carry handle.

Those are Command Arms (formerly First Samco) handguards. Put some muscle behind it & pull the delta ring back or use a handguard removal tool. They will come off.
